Weather conditions were fairly normal in winter but April and May brought about very wet conditions and by early June the vineyards were behind by a couple of weeks. Summer came on strong with temperatures a few degrees above normal and dry sunny conditions allowed the fruit to ripen early.

- The flavours are layered with sweet plum, black cherry with a slight note of leather and dark chocolate. A balanced acidity to dark fruit with lingering fruit tannins on the finish.
